Claire Portier

Claire Portier is a PHD student and lecturer at the University of Aix-Marseille. Holder of a Master II in Public International Law from the University of Aix-Marseille (France) and an LLM in Law from the University of Ottawa (Canada), she is doing her thesis at the study Center of international and community research (CERIC) within the framework of a partnership with the International Organization ITER. Her thesis focuses on the acceptance by laws of liability for damage caused by risky activities, and more specifically risky activities involving new technologies, such as the exploitation of nuclear fusion. His fields of research are thus situated at the intersection of public international law, civil law and French administrative law.
